Péchane- Sumi-e and Sakura workshop

Intro : Sumi-e is part of Zen culture. Preparing the ink and creating the painting itself helps develop concentration, the practice of meditation, and stress reduction. It is also a rare and complex artistic practice whose beauty is universally appreciated.

Workshops :

– Presentation of the tools.

– Demonstration of the painting we will work on.

– Painting a  traditionnal „bamboo”(to become familiar with the brush, paper, and ink).

– Exploring different Sumi-e painting techniques of the „Sakura”flower.

I am a French Sumi-e painter living in Hungary. The sessions will be conducted in English.
